Our RNVG is an alternative for customers who want to switch to a binocular night vision device or even want to enter the night vision world with one! We wanted a housing that is affordable, easy to use and has everything needed to use a binocular night vision device. The result is our RNVG housing that has all the features you need! It is easy to use, has manual gain control, and is pretty darn rugged due to its CNC machined 7075 aluminum construction! In this unit we use Photonis 16mm ECHO tubes, which are 35% lighter than the standard 18mm tubes. So we think the RNVG with the Photonis ECHO 16mm tubes offers really good value for money.

Echo 16mm Tubes

With a high Figure of Merit (FOM) form 1.600 - 2.000 and a fast Auto-Gating, ECHO commercial grade tubes serve many night vision applications for users that require the extra range and details at night. Every image intensifier is supplied with its unique data sheet, providing the most relevant performance information for the user.

16mm tubes have been designed to meet the SWaP requirements of the modern armies: reduced Size, Weight and minimum Power consumption, with state-of-the-art performance. The weight of the 16mm Image Intensifier Tube has been reduced by 27 grams compared to standard ANVIS 18mm tube while its volume size has been reduced by 35%.
